“The West Wing” actor Tim Matheson has deleted a nasty tweet about former First Lady Melania Trump and apologized.
Matheson had compared Jill Biden favorably to Melania, mocking Melania’s english.
After backlash, Matheson deleted the tweet and wrote “This morning I made a hasty and stupid joke about the former First Lady. It wasn’t funny, and it was in poor taste. It was regretful and humorless and I apologize.”
