It is now crystal clear that the GOP political establishment is the mortal enemy of the GOP voter.
The things that are important to conservatives are of no consequence to the GOP political establishment. And even if they pretend to care about the issues we care about their actions tell a very different story.
When Democrats get to run things they march in lockstep to ram their agenda through no matter what, while Republicans form circular firing squads and get little to nothing done.
When Republicans controlled both the House, Senate and the Presidency in 2016 they did far more to obstruct former President Trump than they ever did to try and stop Obama or now Biden.
Why is it that when Mitch McConnell controlled the Senate the Democrats got a veto via their obstructionist tactics while Schumer apparently faces no such obstacles?
Why are Biden’s nominees sailing through the Senate for the most part while many of Trump’s nominees languished for month and years? Why are so many Republicans voting in support of Biden’s nominees, while few Democrats did the same for Trump?
Recent history has shown the the GOP political establishment is not our friend.
They were instrumental in crushing the Tea Party and turned their backs on President Trump and his voters after the election.
Never forget John McCain helped Obama use the IRS to stall the Tea Party movement and pushed the fake Russia dossier that was used to launch the investigation into President Trump.
When Mitt Romney was running for President in 2012 neither he nor Paul Ryan ever addressed a Tea Party rally, and their rejection of that movement is in part why they ultimately lost.
I hear people say all the time that there is no room in the Republican Party for RINO’s but I would suggest that the Mitt Romney, Mitch McConnell, Ben Sasse, Susan Collins, Lisa Murkowski, Pat Toomey’s of the world ARE the true Republicans.
They represent what the Republican party, as currently formulated, stands for. They ARE the Republican Party and Trump is the real RINO because he stands for the people and not for the corrupt Republican Party.
Ever notice that the only times Republicans in Congress try to get big things done is when they are not in power? Remember how many times they repealed Obamacare when they knew it could never actually become law?
Remember what happened when they could actually get it done?
As it stands now there is no team worth rooting for.
The Republican political establishment is hopelessly corrupt and perhaps it is time, maybe past time for a new political party made up of leaders who would put America and the American people first.
