Raphael Warnock is running in a highly contested run-off race against Senator Loeffler for a United States Senate seat from Georgia. Fox News reports that “Warnock worked at a church that hosted and celebrated late Cuban dictator Fidel Castro in 1995.”
Warnock worked at ‘Abyssinian Baptist Church in Harlem, New York in 1995 when Communist dictator Fidel Castro was allowed to visit the U.S. to “denounce the U.S.’s embargo on Cuba” at the United Nations General Assembly. Raphael Warnock worked as Abyssinian Baptist Church’s Assistant Pastor at the time.
The Baptist church at the time reportedly “blasted the United States with the vigor that was missing from his speech to the United States with the vigor that was missing from his speech to the United Nations earlier in the day and winding up the evening with a rousing rendition of the socialist hymn ‘Internationale’.”
Warnock’s Head Pastor, Calvin Butts, praised Castro at the event getting the congregation to chant “Fidel! Fidel! Fidel!”. Butts is still the pastor of Abyssinian Baptist Church. Calvin Butts defended welcoming the dictator to his church, saying, “in our tradition to welcome those who are visionary, who are revolutionary, and who seek the freedom of all the people around the world.”
Fidel Castro was a communist revolutionary dictator who tortured and murdered anyone that objected. Castro wanted to use nuclear weapons against the United States. His congregation was cheering this man. “Fidel! Fidel! Fidel!”
Warnock’s campaign spokesperson told Fox that Warnock was only a “youth pastor and was not involved in any decisions at the time.”
It is logical that a ‘youth pastor’ has no control over the invitation of a dictator at his church, “the campaign DECLINED to provide further comment on whether Warnock attended that particular event.”
According to a bio Fox News found on Ebenezer Baptist Church’s website, the report found that calling Warnock a ‘youth pastor’ is not correct. The website states that Warnock held the title ‘Assistant Pastor’ during Fidel’s visit.
Warnock is a progressive Democrat. He is part of the Democrat ideology that says socialism is the answer to all of America’s problems. The Democrats are splitting with their Party’s platform embracing socialism from defunding the police, Medicare for All, and the Green New Deal. Socialism is at the heart of every radical proposal from the left.
Do you think the Senate will flip Democrat when the final votes are counted and the runoffs are over?

Warnock’s connection to Fidel Castro makes sense as he embarrasses these progressive policies from the Democratic party with open arms. Fidel Castro killed tens of thousands of Cubans and caused a migrant crisis as thousands more fled Castro’s dictatorship.
Senator Loeffler says, “It’s another example of what we’ve been saying all along: He’s the most dangerous and radical candidate in America.”
This will likely be the tip of the dirty iceberg as Republicans rush to dig up enough proof that Warnock is not the man for the people of Georgia. The balance of power in the country rests on the Georgia Senate races. Democrats want to win in Georgia and make this communist-socialist-sympathizer on of their tie-breaking votes in the U.S. Senate.
