Jeffrey Toobin is the physical definition of a media coastal elite that lives his life by the motto “rules for thee but not for me.” He was caught masturbating on a work zoom call. The man even pulled the camera down to show himself to the rest of his colleagues that included women.
Toobin claims that this was an accident. The incident happened when he didn’t realize his camera was on while pleasuring himself to another video call open on a different tab.
This man should be fired. If this were you or your neighbor on a work call, your boss wouldn’t hesitate to fire you for gross misconduct, and I wouldn’t be surprised if you got hit with an “indecent exposure” charge.
If you are a coastal elite that is part of the media oligarchy, you get a pass. Not only will you get a pass, but the rest of the media elites will come running to cover for you.
Toobin already had the media cover for him when he impregnated Casey Greenfield behind his wife’s back. Toobin at first claims that he didn’t stray from his wife. He later admitted to straying but refused to take a paternity test. The court has since ordered and issued a paternity test that proved he fathered the child.
Now back to Toobin, admitting that he made an “embarrassingly stupid mistake.” He says, “I thought no one on the Zoom call could see me. I thought I had muted the Zoom video.”
The coastal elites rushed to Toobin’s defense, according to a report by Fox News. The report says that Vinay Menon said that Toobin “didn’t cover himself in glory – or regrettably, anything else- in that fateful Zoom call, but CNN and his country need him.”
No, the country doesn’t need a man telling us to trust his judgment when he doesn’t have the enlightenment it takes to understand that masturbating during a work call is wrong. The country doesn’t need another entitled elitist sexually harassing his coworkers while he goes on TV, telling us how Trump is unfit.
Menon continues, “Now look. I do not want to minimize any possible trauma experienced by anyone on that video chat… But we need to keep perspective. We need to see the big picture.”
They want Trump out of office so bad, and they think Toobin will be the one to help them. He says, “Here’s the thing: I don’t care if Jeffrey Toobin has demons. I don’t care if he’s a weirdo or a pervert. I don’t care if he fondles himself 20 times a day while wearing a sun hat and listening to Mozart. What I care about is his brain and his analytic skills. He made an embarrassingly stupid mistake. Let’s leave it at that and get on with saving America.”
If Toobin is their answer for “saving America,” I don’t want to be apart of that version. When a man gets on a zoom call and exposes himself intentionally or not is sexual harassment. Toobin being a lawyer, should understand that this is a bigger deal than the joke these pundits are making it out to be.
What you do in the privacy of your home should stay there. However, once you make public your bad judgment and devious acts, it is time for you to be fired. The people sticking up for this guy are just as disgusting as he is. This isn’t a joke or some funny thing he did. His masturbating in front of his colleagues at CNN should lead to charges.
It likely won’t, and this scandal will move off into obscurity because the media elites want it that way.
