Antifa rioters in America typically choose to carry out their acts of violence and destruction in Democrat-led cities where police departments are told to stand down and let them have free reign in destroying businesses, hurting innocent people and looting stores.
But that’s not the case in Germany, where a group of violent Antifa thugs recently found out that when they cross the line, the police do not back down.
According to Breitbart, there have been several anti-lockdown protests by some of the country’s residents who fail to accept another COVID-19-induced lockdown measure, which is currently happening all over Europe. In total, roughly 600 anti-lockdown protesters appeared in the streets over the weekend.
However, in an effort to counter the free-thinking, non-violent protesters, a group of about 300 counter-protesters, with Antifa members included, took to the streets and immediately devolved the otherwise peaceful protest into absolute chaos — one of their specialities.
The violent group purposely gathered in an attempt to block the peaceful protest march before they began clashing with police. And that’s when things turned quite ugly for the Antifa thugs, as German police unleashed powerful water cannons which immediately made the Antifa thugs regret their decision to show up that day.

It didn’t take long for the extreme water pressure of the police water cannons to quickly end the violent disruptions. Police then moved on to shut down the anti-lockdown protesters, though that group claims that protests ended that day because of the violent outbreak caused by the Antifa side.
Do you think rioting will continue into 2021?
“We are here, we are loud because you are robbing us of the future. We are here, we are loud because you are robbing us of our freedom,” shouted one of the anti-lockdown demonstrators.
Free-thinking Germans are, unfortunately, suffering the same restrictions as many residents of American cities are suffering, with closures of restaurants, bars and other small businesses that keep local economies afloat. The country has also banned public gatherings of more than 10 people along with private parties.
Chancellor Angela Merkel, who initiated much of the country’s strict lockdowns, offered virtually zero promise as when they would be lifted. “The light at the end of the tunnel is still quite a long way off,” she said, indicating a potentially long winter of harsh lockdown measures.
This weekend’s protest was only one of many that have popped up in recent weeks, as it’s made clear that freedom-loving Germans, just like Americans, are refusing to be locked inside and forced to be scared of a virus that, for a vast majority of the population, not much more deadly than the common flu.
It’s beginning to appear that more and more people around the world are not going to let their governments interfere with the freedoms to which they’re afforded and ultimately, it will likely result in a sharp uptick in protests in the very near future.
